13 CSA - Makati students sweep 2021 DSPC awards

Colegio San Agustin-Makati was awarded one of the top-performing schools in the 2021 Division Schools Press Conference, among other participating schools in Makati, as students copped awards for individual categories, held on June 29-30.

Matthew Bisnar (Cartooning), Jasmine Hongo (Science Writing), Andrew Santos (Science Writing), Azeem Manarondong (Paglalawarang Tudling), Hanzel Ramos (Pagsulat ng Balita), and Paolo Tapia (Pagkuha ng Larawan) placed 1st in their respective categories.

Mavi Apale (Copyreading and Headlining), Jacquelyn Santos (Photojournalism), and Anya Ungson (Editorial Writing), bagged 2nd place awards.

Sasha De Velez (5th place in Feature Writing), Bettina Baysic (8th place in News Writing), and Vittoria Mendoza (10th place in Photojournalism), seized awards in the said competition as well.

Insights-Salik Editor-in-Chief Kaitlan Strebel and Associate Editor-in-Chief Anya Ungson were elected as Makati Editor’s Guild 2021-2022 officers as Secretary and Business Manager respectively.

The Augustinian Mirror Editor-in-Chief Iggy Panigbatan and Associate Editor-in-Chief Margaux Nicdao were also appointed to be officers at the Makati Editor’s Guild 2021-2022 as Business Manager and Public Information Officer respectively.
