Inhalable Immunity: Needle-free Technology

©Cruz

This could mark the wave of needle-free technology as China recently approved the world’s first inhalable COVID-19 vaccine called Convidecia Air, produced by CanSino Biologics Inc.

The coronavirus passes through the nose and the upper airways to enter the body. Scientists have observed that the inhalable vaccine could strengthen the immune system of the air canals (BBC News, 2022). Trials suggest that the inhalable vaccine can boost protection received from the COVID vaccine as the National Medical Products Administration of China approved it as a booster dose.

To shed light on the convenience and feasibility of this vaccine, it will greatly ease the pressure on healthcare resources. It will also provide an alternative for individuals resistant to needle vaccines.

Furthermore, the world is evidently evolving and making continuous efforts for the betterment of our situations. To learn about the biological and technical aspects of the relatively new inhalable vaccine, visit the CanSino Biologics Inc. website. Make sure to obtain knowledge and perform your responsibility as a contributor to a better world!
