Imagine it is another repetitive weekday in the year, you're bored and you look at the incoming deadlines that add to your stress. A good escape would make everything better wouldn't it? You find yourself digging through podcasts as a result. But what podcasts should you listen to? And would it even be enjoyable?

Filipinos are known for their creativity and open-mindedness, so you should also know about the many podcasts our fellow countrymen make. One of these is Gabbi Garcia and Khalil Ramos's podcast, “Figure It Out”. This podcast is about Gabbi and Khalil navigating through the many struggles they encountered in life. They also share about their relationship and their life experiences in their podcast. Figure It Out was able to reach the number one spot in the Spotify Philippines’ Podcast Charts. Another one of their podcasts is “Boiling Water PH”, where the pair discusses the different problems people of these times face—things such as balancing your career and love life or having a steady and good relationship. Garcia and Ramos state on their website they make and publish ideas to help the audience make wiser decisions in both life and relationships. These two are just some of the many podcasts known in the Philippines. You should try to explore the many other podcasts since you might be able to find a hobby you never knew you enjoyed.

It is important to express love and pride for our own country as Filipinos. Presenting nationalism through their work, your countrymen made podcasts which you should try listening to—“Sleeping Pill” with Inka, “Wake Up” with Jim and Saab, “The KoolPals”, “The Eve's Drop”, “Ask Say” are just a handful of the podcasts created by Filipinos. All this was formed with thorough hard work for their listeners, so the least you could do is show your full support for the lessons they have and will give. Life may get boring and bleak, but there is always something to brighten up our days as long as you search for it with all your heart and one surefire way to brighten your day is to try out something new. So why not have a break? Listen to a podcast.
