On this day, we celebrate the Feast of our Patron Saint and Father, Saint Augustine. He died on August 28, 430 at the age of 75, as the Vandals invaded North Africa. Even 1590 years after his death, Saint Augustine continues to inspire the lives of Christians around the world through his life story of conversion and search for truth. Throughout his life, he also wrote numerous influential works such as Confessions and The City of God.
