Results from an online poll that ran from August 9 to 11 of this year showed that more than half of Colegio San Agustin - Makati pupils thought the government should focus on mass testing. Of the 73 high schoolers who answered, 79.5% of the respondents agreed that mass testing is essential in handling the COVID-19 pandemic.
On the other hand, 34.7% said that the government should target building more quarantine and treatment facilities.

One student explained that such intervention “would lead to a more accurate representation of the number of active cases in the country.”
Around 28 responses of the group expressed that the government had remarkably been ill-prepared in handling this pandemic.
Another Augustinian voiced out that mass testing “should be prioritized in high-risk areas and people who are exposed to the environment for longer periods of time.”
“The best thing that this government can do is support the medical industry to at least increase recoveries [and] decrease death,” a student stated.
